Donate to a participant or team

If you’re looking to support a participant in I CHOP Run, Walk & Virtual Challenge, please click the button below to search by individual or team name.

Donate to the event

Love the idea of any event to benefit Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia but don’t know anyone who’s participating? Consider donating directly to the event. While most donations will support the Children’s Fund at CHOP, larger donations may be directed to a specific area of the hospital.

Write a check

If you’d like to donate via check, please make your gift payable to “CHOP Foundation – I CHOP”. Make sure to write the participant’s name or team you are supporting in the memo line.

Make a gift through a Donor Advised Fund

Checks can be made payable to: Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation

Include the following language for the grant letter: “The donor has requested this grant be used for the following purpose: I CHOP Run, Walk & Virtual Challenge, [Team Name]”.

Matching gifts

Many employers have matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. It’s a great way to double your donation! See if your company has a matching gift policy.

NOTE: Tax ID letters for contributions

Donations made payable to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Children’s Hospital Foundation will receive a tax ID letter.
