The I CHOP Run & Walk launched in person on Sunday, April 26, 2026 — and the impact was immediate! More than 7,500 people gathered at FDR Park to kick-off our community-wide effort to support Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). In May, hundreds more people joined the I CHOP Virtual Challenge. And together, we raised more than $1.7 million (and counting) to support patients and families at CHOP!
Presented by Philadelphia Insurance Companies, our in-person I CHOP event in April featured a 5K Run and 3K Family Fun Walk. More than 465 teams came together to support children with every need. Then, hundreds more supporters joined our month-long I CHOP Virtual Challenge.
Over the span of just 36 days, I CHOP participants traveled more than 30,000 kilometers, supported more than 100 individual programs at CHOP and met some the hospital’s – and our patients’ – greatest needs.
